Had CAT scan.  (Dr. Allen – Neurosurgery)  Results are that brain looks better than before!  Not perfect, but much better.

This is the story of how Compassion’s beloved president, Wess Stafford, traveled to Washington D.C., rubbed shoulders with the mighty and powerful and still managed to return home the same humble man that we adore.

Flew back to GA.  Was dropped off at passenger drop off at airport, checked in luggage and went to gate all by herself.

Dennis & Carolyn return to CO on Oct 4 – 1pm.  Dennis leaves the following Tuesday.  Carolyn stays until Oct 19.

Thank you for your prayers.  The Lord has heard you, andI continure to feel the powers of your prayers.  I am truly blessed and I thank you.  I am so thankful for you, for your love and especially for your prayers. Sometimes when I Think about what happened to me and how far I have come, I think about  your prayers and the awesome blessings of God, and I cry.    

I just began to read a book called 90 Minutes in Heaven BY Don Piper and just have to share with you this statement from him.  “To the prayer warriers…You prayed, I’m here!”

Thank you.   I think that I  without your prayers I probably would not be here.

Tired and has a headache this morning.

Doesn’t like chocolate anymore.  Likes oatmeal now – always hated it before.  Weird!

Took a walk in open space behind Becky & Kevin’s house with Becky and Taylor.  Sat outside while Taylor played in playhouse.

Babysat Taylor for 2 1/2 hours.  Changed her poopy diaper and carried her to her crib.  Was a little overwhelmed.  Becky is feeling very guilty 

Worked on her Bible Study homework. 

Wrote out a message that she would like on the blog.  Will type it out later.

Watched Taylor’s and Sammie’s swim lessons.

Went to Sammie’s soccer practice (Doug is the coach).

Babysat Taylor for 3 hours while Becky took Sammie to school and dropped Denny off at airport.  Did fine.

Met with Chris Bains at McDonald’s.  Had good conversation.

Talked with Lydia Peek over 2 1/2 hours in the afternoon. 

Talked with Becky until 10:30pm at night.  Was fun for Becky to get to talk to her mom like that again.  Laughed about fact tried to wash her face with toothpaste before.

Visited Kevin and Becky’s church, Forest Ridge Community Church.   Met a lot of the people who had been praying for her. 

Tom and Sharon McCormick, Debbie Judish, and Danna Judish visited.  Enjoyed the visits.

Talked about how ENT doctor figured out her otoconia (ear rocks) were shaken out of place with her fall.  They cause her to feel dizzy.  The doctor has done 3 treatments tapping on her head to move the “rocks” back where they belong.  Will probably have 3 more treatments.  (I had no idea we have “ear rocks” in our inner ear!)

Denny flies out tomorrow.  Carolyn stays until Saturday.

Watched Sammie’s soccer game.  Helps get out food and clean up the dishes.  Emptied the dishwasher.

Hearing aid sometimes magnifies the noise too much.  Was difficult for her to hear the sounds of the dishes clanging being put away.

Dennis and Carolyn arrived safely in Colorado.  Dennis had Carolyn navigate through the airport and she did great.

Received hearing aid for left ear.  Can hear almost normal with it.
