Sammie is doing well!

For those that may not know, Sammie our 5 year old had a 8mm kidney stone that they think is left over from her kidney surgery. Sammie went in today to have a shock treatment on the kidney stone and hopefully break it up so she will not have oain when she passes it. She is a little sore, but doing well. Hopefully the next few weeks will have no pain as she passes the stone.

Bring Christmas to Poverty

Hello everone….

I just wanted to write and ask that you consider a additional Christmas present this year….

Our Lesly

the gift of life. As many of you know I work for Compassion International and I get to hear all the stories of all the lives changed for children all over the world. Well what you may not hear is that the US econony and high gas prices, and even strugling US auto industry has had a devistating effect on the poorest of poor! This global food crisis has created more need than ever.

Our Wanjala

I am not normally the person to ask things of people and I know money is tight for everone, but this Christmas I ask you consider changing the life of one child somewhere in the world. There is a child that needs help now on the right side of this page. You have the power to change their life.

You can! www.compassion.com

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KEVIN!

Carolyn is doing really well.  She has been spending Thanksgiving with us.  We celebrated also with Sharon & Tom, Doug & Lauren.

My mom and dad arrived on Monday and are staying until next Monday.  She made a pumpkin pie.  She seems to be enjoying her grandkids a lot more than last time.

Halloween Photos

Carving Pumpkins Well Halloween has come and passed. This year we got out and hit the neighborhoods with some friends as well as did some local “Harvest Parties”. The weather was amazing for Colorado. Sammie was a Butterfly and Taylor, Broncos Cheerleader! Dad was a creepy Dr?

Guestbook Disabled

Hello everyone. Due to a recent very large number of inappropriate spam postings on Mom Z’s guestbook and the fact she is able to communicate via phone now we decided it was best to disable her guestbook.
Because of this we will be better at putting up more information. You can still feel free to comment on the blog page.

My mom drove on Sunday!  Just found out today from my dad.  She drove his car and did well.  That same day the pastor of my church did a sermon on miracles and told my brother and I he thought of my mom as a living miracle as he prepared the sermon.  After church, he asked my brother and I if our mom would ever drive again.  We said no, we didn’t think so.  We were wrong!  :-)

Worked today with Jil doing the gardening business.  Worked for about 3 hours.  Was a little dizzy a couple of times.  Took 2 hour nap afterwards.
